The Brussels based baroque ensemble Les Abbagliati is invited by The Musicians of the Kings Road, baroque ensemble from Turku (FI) to perform a programme together with Belgian baroque music : a Concerto by Corette, ballet de Village by Boismortier, Sinfonia for winds and strings by Van Malderen, orchestral pieces by Van Helmont, Triosonata by Rosier, Lamentation by Fiocco, aria by Grétry.

Sien Huybrechts (traverso), Annelies Decock (violin), and Ronan Kernoa (cello) will form an ensemble of 15 artists, together with the Musicians of the Kings Road, and with soloists Soetkin Elbers (soprano) and Marieke Van Ransbeeck (musette de cour) in two concerts :

The scores for this project come from two Brussels music libraries: the library of the Royal Conservaroire, and the Royal Library of Belgium. This music will be performed for the first time in Finland.
The project contributes to the international appeal and image of Les Abbagliati, and the disclosure of the very valuable collection of the two Brussel music libraries.
